Lemon Tree

The last of my gardening is done....I really wanted a lemon tree, (I live in florida) ...My hubby planted it this morning and did a wonderful job.....

Now that Obama and his cronies have released the documents on waterboarding they have decided thats not enough, lets show our enemies photo's also. He isn't keeping our country safe, he's handing over plans to our enemies to destroy us.......................He's an idiot. The only reason he's in office is because GE and all it owns was told to play nice with Obama that way Obama will be nice in return....with all he's doing he should be impeached. My Tomato Plants

I decided to plant my tomatoes close to the house. You can see my veggie garden in the back ground, my herb garden is to the left ( out of range of camera) and my pea's are to the right (again out of range)....I am so enjoying myself this year.

Beautiful Day

I didn't sleep well last night but doesn't matter, it is so beautiful outside. I plan on finishing up on my herb garden. Top soil needs to go down, then I will take a picture of my "little", and I do mean little garden. Ever notice how the small things in life can really have an impact on how you feel. I love sitting out back and looking at my African Iris's, they remind me of my sister. My little garden brings me such pleasure. This coming week we are putting in our veggie garden as well. With the price of vegetables one can't afford not to put one in. I will put a picture on when it's complete or atleast close to being complete.

Why is it that so many people find Obama exciting? These people need to read "Revelations", it talks all about what is going on in our country and around the world. Don't let his speeches and his charm fool you. He is NOT what you think.

Have You Seen This Commercial???

Slap Chop $19.95 plus shipping & handling......
To me it is the most ridiculous commercial, the item for sale basically dices/chops food. It is so small that 2 pieces of chunky pineapple and 1 small strawberry fits in it nicely. The Slap Chop, if I was to use it, wouldn't work for me, I prepare meals designed for more than 1 person, or it would take me a very LONG time putting 1 or 2 pieces of product in it. As for making a meal for 1, it would be so much easier and less messy to just cut up the food with a knife. All together with shipping and handling this item would cost you atleast $30.00. But lets not forget you also get the Graty and the folding cutting board with it for free...Hmmm the graty fits snuggly 3 small pieces of cheese to shred. Not worth all the cleaning. The cutting board can be bought in a store for a very reasonable price of 5 for $5.00.
For $30.00 ???? I just can't see it, maybe if it were much bigger it would be more useful.....
But this is just my opinion.....

Chocolate chip Cookie

The only way I make chocolate chip cookies now is on a xtra large pizza pan, one giant cookie and it turns out to be the best cookie...just ask my family and friends.....

Mmm Good

Although I am on a diet I splurged tonight and had a burger ( instead of a boca ), fries ( instead of cottage cheese) and corn ( instead of broccoli ) and it was sooooo yummy, I will pay the price for it tomarrow but tonight I enjoyed....I forgot to take pictures but burgers on the grill you can just imagine....

Quiet Night.............

The sunshine state wasn't very sunny today, overcast and rainy....little below average temp. for this time of year. It'll get better tomarrow....
It's almost time to put in my garden. This will be the 1st garden for us here in Florida...Just a small one out back to get me started. The prices of veggies has gone up so much a garden should help with that cost....that's if all goes well...
I just need to decide what exactly I am going to grow and the area it needs to be in....I am pretty exited about it..............

Mmmm Mmmm Chicken......

I left out the mushrooms since I didn't have any on hand....the little chunks are so tender. I made this along with little fried red potatoes and a salad...no bread tonight....

All The Right Reasons......

Sometimes we do things for all the right reasons and it turns out it's not the right thing to do...you can say "I am Sorry" but it doesn't matter. The wrong thing was done, trying to get back to making it right again is even harder so what do you do. Make it right or atleast keep trying to make it right. Sometimes there is nothing you can do to make it right. Either the one effected by the wrong will forgive you or they wont. If you've done you best theres nothing else to do.....Sometimes you can't right a wrong....'
If someone has done something, he acknowledges it, tries to make amends, learn to "Forgive".......don't keep bringing up the past and throwing it in there face... It doesn't help....
It's better to forgive than to carry a grudge....

Guitner messing up in the Treasury department, AIG bonus's that have people upset, this very unconstitutional bill that was passed to make sure 90% of bonus money goes back to "where".....
Our economy needs a President willing to keep "912 project" principles, not do what he wants to do, whenever he wants, to whoever he wants...................
Next election we need to remember all of this and vote the way it should have been...........

Angel Food Cake with Homemade Apricot Sauce

Low-cal and so wonderfully light....taste great, too.
Soak dried apricots over night.
Soft boil till soft.
Add sugar to taste.
I did put mine through the food processor to make sure it was the consistency I wanted.
Make it thick enough, it's great as jam.....
